About Curator

Art is already around you.

Curator helps people notice it, understand it, and connect it back to the artists and places behind it.

We’re building a better way to discover art in the real world.

Artwork, place, and context in one path.

Why Curator exists

The art is visible. The information often is not.

You can walk past a mural, see a painting in a coffee shop, visit a gallery, or encounter an installation and still have no easy way to understand what you are seeing.

  • Who made this?

  • What is it called?

  • Where else can I see their work?

  • What else is on view here?

Curator exists to make those answers easier to find, right where people encounter the work.

How Curator connects the pieces

One artwork can open into a fuller picture.

Curator connects artwork to the artist who made it, where it is on view, the exhibit it belongs to, and the place around it.

Centered on real-world discovery

Curator isn’t another social feed.

Comments and likes are not the core experience. Discovery is centered on art, place, artists, venues, and exhibits, with simple ways for visitors to save what they find and keep following the people and places behind it.

Where Curator is going

Starting with local discovery. Built to travel.

Curator can grow city by city and neighborhood by neighborhood as artists, venues, exhibits, and artwork are added. It is designed to grow wherever art is being made, shown, and discovered.
